Grade 9 is the most important year of your mathematics schooling, and this includes Grades 10-12 which are to come. At the end of Grade 9 you will choose between pure Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy as a subject. Taking pure Mathematics will provide far greater opportunities for you in access to university, and also in the choice of subjects, whereas Mathematical Literacy, which you may think of as easier, will limit you and will make it difficult to get into university. 

Our Grade 9 Success Initiative is designed to help every learner to make the grade to take Mathematics in Grades 10-12, and this programme is followed by support for those in Grades 10, 11, and with a special focus on Exam Preparation for Grade 12.
